The chances are that if you ever do need to use your handgun in a defensive situation, it is more likely to be at night and/or in dim or dark conditions, rather than in bright light, in the middle of the day. But most pistol classes teach you only how to shoot in perfect visibility.
In Code Green’s Low Light/No Light Pistol Class, you’ll discover that shooting in the dark is profoundly different to shooting in daylight. Yes, you already know it will be hard to see the bad guy, but are you prepared for the disorienting effects of muzzle flash? How will you align your sights on the bad guy when you can barely see him and not see your sights at all?
What about using a flashlight or laser? How can you do this and still hold/shoot your gun accurately at the same time? And how can you do this without providing an aiming beacon for the bad guy to shoot back at? What are the pluses and minuses of lasers?
Sure, we turn the lights out – literally – and keep you in the dark for much of this course. But we’re sure you’ll end the course having been ‘illuminated’ with new knowledge and skills about how best to resolve problems in low light and no light conditions. If you disagree, there’s our Code Green Training Guarantee that puts our money (or, more exactly, your money!) where our mouth is. As always, simply ask for a refund if you don’t feel this course gave you fair value for money.
